Design Awards Animation
This animation is based on Ireland's design industry as a growing, changing network. This network is illustrated through a series of shapes revealed by the opening and closing of hands. Hands are suggestive of skill and Ireland's craft heritage while the shapes are suggestive of a network that is moving, adapting and growing. As the animation plays, the shapes become more complex and colourful, in harmony with the modern, evolved, interdisciplinary nature of Ireland's design industry today. The shapes form a complete network that grows and fills the screen, resulting in a dynamic pattern of lines that run off to reveal the award category.
